Hero Health app usage instructions – 3 simple steps!
The Hero Health app, as mentioned in our article on how the Hero Health pill dispenser works, is used primarily to program the machine and to receive reminders to take pills. Although Hero does put effort in simplifying the app, it will still be a challenge for those who are not too tech savvy. Therefore, we’ve tested the app time and again and compiled a dummy-friendly 3-step instruction for you down below.
Step 1: Download the app
The first step to using any app is always downloading and installing them. Click the links below to download the Hero Health app for your device, or visit the official link:
Step 2: Setting up the app
Once you have downloaded the app, the next step is to register an account and perform first-time set-up for the app. To do so, open the app and tap on ‘Get Started’.
You will need to enter your email and personal information to register an account, as well as creating a password. Make sure you don’t forget the email address you use to register and your password, as they are key credentials for you to log in next time.
To verify your email, the Hero Health app will send a 4-digit code to the email address you entered. Copy the 4-digit code and enter it when the Hero app asks you to do so, and you’re done!

Step 3: Programming your dose
Once you’ve set up the Hero Health app and programmed your dose, you can start programming your pill regimen. The first step is always to add the different medications you are taking to your account. To do so, you simply need to type in the name of your medication and click ‘Next’. Then, you can move on to enter the dose form, dose strength, and expiration date of your medication.
Next, you need to program the schedule for you to take the medications you’ve just entered. Hero provides 3 options for your schedule: Every Day, Select Days (you take this medication only on specific days of the week), or As Needed (you take this medication only when needed). After that, you can tap on ‘Add time’ and add a time for when you need to take your medication, as well as how many pills to take at that time. Once that is done, you’re good to go. Enjoy!
So that has been our guide to using the Hero Health app. It’s certainly a rather complicated piece of technology, but that does not mean you can’t figure it out!
